2026 Topps Update Japan Edition Baseball reportedly ¥15,400 per box
2026 Topps Update Japan Edition Baseball is reportedly priced at ¥15,400 a box (about $98), up from ¥13,200 (about $84) for 2025 Update. The Topps Japan website is said to have confirmed an early release on November 6, 2026, while the estimated date is November 20, 2026.
The product is a Japan-format version of the flagship MLB Topps Update line, and the price matches Series 2. Each box holds 20 packs of 12 cards, or 240 cards in total, and 12 boxes make up a case.
The checklist draws heavily from the main Update MLB set, with Japan Edition exclusives added. Base Cherry Blossom parallels add pink flowers to the main series at 1:36 packs and are listed at 350 cards. Koi Fish parallels, built on the 1991 Topps Koi Fish insert, come at 1:4 packs and are numbered Gold /50, Orange /25, Black /10 and Red /5.
Two exclusive insert sets are planned. Strike Zone Heroes covers top pitchers of past and present with a multi-color comic-book-style background. World Baseball Classic Highlights revisits the 2026 WBC won by Team Venezuela, with 50 cards across 12 countries, including eight Team Japan stars.
Cherry Blossom numbers run from US1 Konnor Griffin (Pittsburgh Pirates RC) onward and include Combos cards such as Shohei Ohtani/Kyle Tucker (US102) and Munetaka Murakami/Miguel Vargas (US103). Tatsuya Imai (Houston Astros RD) is listed as US19, and Season Highlights cards include Pete Crow-Armstrong (US33), Mike Trout (US121) and Bryce Harper (US131). The checklist is subject to change.
