CGC and JSA Take Submissions at Chicago Sports Spectacular Nov 20-22
Collectors in the Chicago area can hand cards, comics, video games and autographed memorabilia to CGC and JSA in person at the Chicago Sports Spectacular. The show runs November 20-22, 2026, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. JSA Basic Certification (COA) is finalized the same day, while an Express Drop-off Service lets collectors hand prepared submissions to a representative without waiting in line.
CGC will accept sports cards, TCGs, non-sports cards, comics, magazines, video games and home video collectibles for authentication and grading at the show. CGC Signature Series witnesses will be available, and JSA representatives will accept autographed memorabilia submissions and offer on-site authentication. JSA Letter of Authenticity (LOA) submissions are observed the same day, with final documented results sent later by mail. JSA submission pricing is listed at SpenceLOA.com/fees. According to CGC, show attendees get fast turnaround times and save on shipping fees.
To prepare, collectors should create a free CGC account (paid members get extra discounts and benefits), open the online submission form for cards, comics, video games or home video, select "Mail-In or Show Drop-Off," complete the form and print the packing slips. Collectibles must be placed in the order listed on the packing slip, and both copies of the packing slip must be brought to the drop-off, or delays will result. Submissions are finalized at the Express Drop-off sign at the show.
All show submissions are transported to CGC's headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, for authentication, grading and encapsulation. The Chicago Sports Spectacular brings together athletes, fans and memorabilia collectors, with autograph sessions and sports memorabilia. CGC is part of the Certified Collectibles Group, whose companies have certified more than 110 million collectibles since 1987.
