Fusion World Start Deck Limited Battle Gives Out FP-097 to FP-101
Fusion World newcomers get their own table in December 2026: the Start Deck Limited Battle (Japanese: スタートデッキ限定バトル) is an exchange event where you play your Start Deck exactly as it came, and you leave with a Battle Pack 12 card. This is a Japan event; the announcement gives no exact date.
The event is aimed at people about to start Dragon Ball Super Card Game Fusion World or who have only just begun. Decks must be unchanged from their original construction, so there is no sideboarding, no tuning, and no tech cards.
Fusion World Start Deck Limited Battle: Eligible Decks
All twelve Start Decks from FS01 to FS12 are eligible in December 2026:
- FS01–FS05: Son Goku, Vegeta, Broly, Frieza, and Bardock.
- FS06–FS08: the Mini decks, Son Goku (Mini), Vegeta (Mini), and Vegeta (Mini) Super Saiyan 3.
- FS09–FS12: the EX decks, Shallot, Gibblet, Realm of Evolution, and Ki Surge (Dynamism of Ki).
Battle Pack 12 Gifts: FP-097 to FP-101
Every participant receives a gift at the end of the event, taken from the five-type Battle Pack 12 set.
The lineup is:
- FP-097 Son Goku
- FP-098 Trunks: Future
- FP-099 Zamasu
- FP-100 Vegito
- FP-101 Bardock
Whether you choose your card or receive one of the five at random is not given in the announcement.
How to Enter via BANDAI TCG+
Entry requires advance application in the BANDAI TCG+ app. Set the game title to 'DBSCG FUSION WORLD' to see event information.
The app also handles same-day check-in and result registration.
Play follows the official rules on the official site, and participants are asked to read the official rules and floor rules beforehand.
Context: Other December Battle Pack 12 Events
The same gift set appears elsewhere in Japan's December calendar. The Standard Shop Battle also hands every entrant a Battle Pack 12 card, with winners adding Energy Marker Pack 11.
TCGKing's take: this is the low-pressure entry point. A box-fresh Start Deck and a promo for showing up beat a tournament where everyone else has tuned lists, and the same-deck rule keeps matches even.
What is still unknown
- The exact December 2026 dates.
- Participating stores, participant caps, and entry fees.
- Whether gifts are chosen or random.
