GCG EXPO Osaka Entry Rules

Entry takes some preparation:

• Participation requires advance application through the BANDAI TCG+ app, with the game title set to GUNDAM CARD GAME.
• Face recognition registration is required, and unregistered people cannot enter.
• Cosplay, including changing clothes inside the venue, is not permitted.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 26-27 EXPO Qualifier Format

The WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 26-27 EXPO Qualifier takes place at Osaka Venue B. Advance applications are closed.

It uses a 3on3 format, with win/loss rules and team-composition regulations that differ from other tournaments. Decks cannot be changed during the tournament.

A pre-application content called "Serial Card Challenge" also runs at the event. Nothing beyond its name is given in the announcement.

Matching Battle Hours and Rewards

Matching Battle is open to people who did not win a spot in the EXPO Qualifier or Serial Card Challenge in advance.

Planned hours:

• Saturday, November 28: 9:30–18:30, final matching at 18:00.
• Sunday, November 29: 9:30–17:30, final matching at 17:00.
• Hours may change depending on event status.

Rewards scale with matches played:

• 7 matches: EXRP-020 EX Resource (Hatsune Miku).
• 5 matches: one promotional card set chosen from 12 types.
• 3 matches: one resource card chosen from 8 types.
• 1 match: a 1st Anniversary Resource Card Pack, with one of 8 types at random.

Some choices may run out because quantities are limited, and rewards end when stock runs out.

Gundam Card Game Sealed Battle with Stardust Trails [GD06]

Sealed Battle players buy 8 packs of Stardust Trails [GD06] at the booth entrance, open them, and build a 30-card deck.

Players are placed in random groups of 4 and play 3 matches within the group. Sleeves are optional, and the deck can be changed between matches using the opened cards.

You must bring your own Resource cards, EX Resources and EX Bases. If unit tokens are unavailable, substitute cards placed face down may be used. Products bought at other shops cannot be brought in.

Hours:

• Saturday: 9:30–18:30, registration ends 17:00.
• Sunday: 9:30–17:30, registration ends 16:00.

Playing 3 matches earns a promotional card set (1 of 12 types), a 1st Anniversary Resource Card Pack, and a paper card case (1st Anniversary ver.).

Only participants can buy the packs at the area, and cash is not accepted. Credit cards, transit IC cards, QR payments and e-money are accepted.

TCGKing's take: the no-cash rule is the detail most likely to trip someone up at the booth, so load a card or app before the day. Sealed Battle's 3-match reward also matches Matching Battle's lower tiers in effort, while adding the card case.

On-Site Merchandise

The confirmed item is Official Card Sleeves EX 02: 70 sleeves per pack at ¥990 including tax (about $6.30), limit one per person.

Other side events and merchandise are to be announced at a later date.

Another sleeve set is on the way: the Japanese Official Sleeves EX 04 [EVX14] ships January 9, 2027 at ¥990.

• Details of the Serial Card Challenge beyond its name.
• Other side events and merchandise.
• The price of Stardust Trails [GD06] packs at the event, which is not given in the announcement.
