Magic Commander: Jodah, the Unifier Bracket 2 Deck With Only Universes Beyond Creatures
A Draftsim guide reportedly builds a Jodah, the Unifier Commander deck where every non-commander creature is from a Universes Beyond set, with Gallifrey Stands as the win condition.
According to a Draftsim guide, a Jodah, the Unifier Commander deck can run on one self-imposed rule: every creature except the commander must come from a Universes Beyond set. Lands are exempt. The author targets Bracket 1-2 and says the finished list fits Bracket 2.
The guide treats the Dungeons & Dragons-related sets as Universes Beyond for this build. It also avoids Game Changers, tutors and optimized choices.
Jodah Commander Decklist: Card Counts
The reported list breaks down like this:
- 1 commander
- 32 creatures
- 7 instants
- 8 sorceries

Doctor Theme and Gallifrey Stands Win Condition
The deck leans on a Doctor theme. Gallifrey Stands serves as the win condition, and it needs other Doctors in play.
The Doctors are not limited to Doctor Who. The list also pulls them from the Star Trek and Marvel Super Heroes Universes Beyond sets.
The creature list includes The First through The Thirteenth Doctor, The War Doctor, Doctor Jane Foster, Christine Chapel, Combat Medic, Night Nurse, Healer of Heroes, Sarah Jane Smith, Jamie McCrimmon, Graham O'Brien, K-9, Mark I and Iraxxa, Empress of Mars.
Other creatures include Aragorn, the Uniter; Basim Ibn Ishaq; Bilbo, Retired Burglar; Cecil, Dark Knight // Cecil, Redeemed Paladin; Delighted Halfling; Fire Lord Zuko; Glóin, Dwarf Emissary; Havi, the All-Father; Prosper, Tome-Bound; Serah Farron // Crystallized Serah; and Venat, Heart of Hydaelyn // Hydaelyn, the Mothercrystal.
How Jodah Powers the Legendary Plan
Per the guide, Jodah gives legendary creatures a Coat of Arms effect. With two legendary creatures plus Jodah in play, all creatures get +3/+3.
Jodah also cascades into another legendary spell whenever you cast a legendary spell.
The deck runs 31 legendary creatures besides the commander. The guide calls them the main route to victory.
Rising of the Day gives haste to legendary creatures, and Flowering of the White Tree suits a legends-matter deck.
The guide adds that Universes Beyond sets support paradox payoffs for casting spells from outside the hand. It also says many non-Universes Beyond cards in the list have a reprint in a precon.
