NARUTO CARD GAME Launches Worldwide in June 2027, With Gen Con 2026 Tutorials First

NARUTO CARD GAME Rules and Card Types

The lineup draws on the TV anime NARUTO, NARUTO: SHIPPUDEN and BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS. Card art mixes original illustrations by various artists with artwork from the anime and manga.

Play uses five card types:

• Leader
• Character
• EX Character
• Chakra
• Summon

A player battles with a deck of 51 cards, 5 Chakra cards and 1 Summon card. The goal is to reduce the opponent's Leader's Life to 0.

Resting the Summon card brings one of your characters onto the field. Chakra is used to activate face-down support cards, and Ninjutsu can stop attacks.

Character cards are chosen according to the Leader's color, and some can activate Ninjutsu by paying a Chakra cost. EX Characters can be played once certain play conditions are reached.

NARUTO CARD GAME Gen Con 2026 Tutorial Sessions

Gen Con 2026 runs July 30 - August 2, 2026 at Indiana Convention Center, 200 South Capitol Avenue, Suite 300, Indianapolis, IN 46225, USA. It is the first event to host the tutorials, starting a worldwide rollout.

Ticket registration was expected to open on June 21, 2026 at 12:00 PM PDT on the Gen Con 2026 website.

Session rules:

• Held in Event Room #121, with free admission (Gen Con entry required).
• Demo decks cannot be taken home.
• Photo, video and audio recording are not allowed in the room.
• Each person may join only 1 session; duplicate registrations may be canceled.

Gen Con Tutorial Gifts and the $35 Official Playmat

Participants receive the CP-001 Chakra Card -Gen Con 2026 Ver.-, but only if they are registered to the "NARUTO TCG UPDATES CHANNEL" on TCG+ and complete a post-session survey. Prizes are limited to one per person.

Other gifts are a Special Backpack, a Logo Sticker and a Purchase Voucher for the NARUTO CARD GAME Official Playmat, valid on the day of the event only.

The playmat, arriving in 2027, has an MSRP of $35 (+tax). It is sold at the Event Hall (BANDAI CARD GAMES Booth) only to tutorial attendees with a Purchase Ticket.

• Backpacks are handed out at Exhibition Hall (#605), in limited daily amounts, first come, first served, one per person.
• A free Logo Sticker is given for following any official social channel (Instagram, Facebook, X) or registering for the "NARUTO TCG UPDATES CHANNEL" on BANDAI TCG+.

BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27 takes place in 11 cities worldwide from October 2026.
