It is the second straight NBA season for the rebooted line, and "Flagship" is now officially part of the title.
Dates and prices
Presales for Topps opened on October 6, 2026. Mega boxes follow with an estimated release of November 12, 2026.
Presale prices are $169.99 for Hobby, $339.99 for Jumbo, $59.99 for Mega, and $29.99 for Value Blaster.
For comparison, the 2025-26 one-hit-per-box Hobby format sold for $109.99 at presale and $119.99 on release day.
What is in each box

Mega boxes include 4 1981-82 Topps inserts, with 15 cards per pack, 12 packs per box, and 20 boxes per case. The All-Star Game Mega boxes use the same pack and box layout and total 180 cards.
Value Blaster boxes have 10 packs of 12 cards and 6 inserts. The Black Friday version keeps that configuration and totals 120 cards. Fanatics Value Blaster boxes have 12 packs of 7 cards, with 8 Topps Foil Pattern parallels and 9 inserts.
Hanger boxes hold 1 pack of 48 cards, including 2 Diamante parallels and 1 1981-82 Topps insert.
The checklist
The base set has 300 cards, led by the 2026 draft class alongside veterans. Among the notable rookies are AJ Dybantsa, Caleb Wilson, Cameron Boozer, Darryn Peterson, and Keaton Wagler, and their rookie cards now feature a new RC logo compared with last year.
On card 17, Giannis Antetokounmpo shows up in a Miami Heat uniform, which marks a first for a standard NBA release.
A short print is the first LeBron James 76ers card pulled from packs, and its parallel selection is more limited. He also has a standard base Los Angeles Lakers card, #57. Dylan Wang (Wang Hedi), a Chinese actor and singer, gets both a base card and an autograph.
Parallels, inserts, and signatures
Base variations are Golden Mirror Image, Clear, Number, Team, and Wood. Base parallels run from Gold /2026, Yellow Rainbow /399, and Purple Rainbow /250 down to Red Rainbow /5, plus First Card 1/1 and FoilFractor 1/1.
Exclusive parallels are Hobby Victory, Jumbo Sandglitter, Retail Holo Foil, Hanger Diamante, and Value Blaster Season Tip Off.
Inserts include the new Poster Factory and Levitation, 1981-82 Topps Basketball for the design's 45th anniversary, Hardwood Stars, and Bounce (SSP). Quest for the Crown and All Kings round out the SSPs, with All Kings adding a new Gold 1/1 parallel.
Autograph sets are Flagship Real One Autographs, Level Up Signatures, New Applicants, Rookie Photo Shoot Autographs, and 1981-82 Topps Autographs. The relic lineup features Flagship Real One Relics, Own the Game, Roundball Remnants and more.
