2026 Topps Midnight Football reportedly has a 100-card base set, new autograph subsets, and a U.S. First Day Issue Dutch-auction preorder. Hobby street date and pricing are unconfirmed.
2026 Topps Midnight Football, a Dark Chrome football product built around autographs, reportedly comes with seven cards per First Day Issue (FDI) box, three of them autographs and two of them parallels. The U.S. FDI listing carries those numbers, and the standard Hobby configuration has not been confirmed.
Preorder dates and box format
Topps listed a First Day Issue Dutch-auction preorder for October 9 at noon Eastern. The Topps Hobby page listed a preorder date of October 12. The year is not stated for either date.
In a Dutch auction, the price drops over time. The starting and ending prices for the FDI sale are not stated.
A final Hobby street date has not been confirmed, and neither the standard Hobby box configuration (hits per box) nor its price is clear yet.
Checklist and autograph subsets
The Topps checklist has 100 base cards. The rookie group includes Fernando Mendoza, Jeremiyah Love, Carnell Tate, Caleb Downs, and Jordyn Tyson. Veterans include Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, Justin Jefferson, and Jalen Hurts.
Four autograph concepts return: Rookie Horizon Signatures, Horizon Signatures, Stroke of Midnight Autographs, and Rookie Jersey Autographs. Three football autograph subsets are new: Midnight Oil Marks, Moonlit Materials Signatures, and Dark Matter Autographs.
Midnight Oil Marks includes Fernando Mendoza and several other major rookies. Dark Matter Autographs lists Tom Brady, Barry Sanders, and Jerry Rice, among other names.

The Night Night checklist mixes rookies with established stars and legends, including Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Joe Montana. The official gallery shows a Celestial Roots card of Josh Allen. Print runs and odds for these three lines are not stated.
