Union Arena English restricts Solo Leveling; ARKNIGHTS due June 2027
A producer update puts a Solo Leveling restriction in force for the English version, confirms ONE PUNCH MAN Vol. 2, and sets ARKNIGHTS for June 2027.
The English version of Union Arena now has a card-use restriction on Solo Leveling. The producer's update also covers a Vol. 2 set for ONE PUNCH MAN and an ARKNIGHTS special booster pack and starter deck scheduled for June 2027.
The Solo Leveling restriction
The restriction applies to the English version and is based on the current state of the game. It follows an analysis of recent tournament outcomes and card usage patterns.
The policy behind it is straightforward. Official and authorized tournament results are reviewed, restrictions go on certain cards when appropriate, and they will be lifted when the meta allows.
The message does not say which Solo Leveling cards are affected, what the restriction level is, or when it takes effect.
ONE PUNCH MAN Vol. 2 and ARKNIGHTS
A Vol. 2 set for ONE PUNCH MAN will be released in the English version, with more details to be announced. It is aimed at players who enjoyed Vol. 1 and at newcomers who want to build a ONE PUNCH MAN deck.
ARKNIGHTS is joining Union Arena with a special booster pack and a starter deck. Both are scheduled for June 2027.
The message also lists other upcoming English-version products: Precious booster packs for Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, Vol. 3 booster packs for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, and advanced decks. No dates are given for them.
Why it matters
The restriction is tied to recent tournament outcomes and card usage patterns, and the stated policy is that restrictions will be lifted when the meta allows.
The message also shows the English version's roster growing. Chainsaw Man, Inuyasha, and Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World have joined the game. Kanehara has served as producer of the English version since April, and the version marked its second anniversary on October 4.
TCGKing's release calendar for the game separately lists Re:ZERO Vol.2 EX17BT on October 30 at about $2.44 a pack, in our coverage of that booster.
