Union Arena Monogatari Series Vol.2: Green Arrives November 27
Japan's second Monogatari booster brings Second and Final Season content, 11 voice-cast signature cards, and a new green color for 385 yen a pack.
The second Monogatari booster for Union Arena lands in Japan on Friday November 27, 2026, and it adds a whole new color: green. Monogatari Series Vol.2 Booster Pack also pulls in Second Season and Final Season content from the anime, plus voice-cast signature cards.
This is the Japanese-language release. No English or overseas release is given in the announcement.
Monogatari Series Vol.2 Price, Packs & Rarities
Each pack costs 385 yen (about $2.40) with tax included, and holds 8 cards. A box contains 16 packs.
The set's rarity breakdown:
- 12 SR (Super Rare)
- 12 R (Rare)
- 26 U (Uncommon)
- 25 C (Common)
- 11 AP (Action Point)
Parallel cards are included and inserted randomly.
New Green Color and Deck Support
Green is the new color here, and the set also adds cards that strengthen decks in existing colors.
Which cards and effects carry green is not given in the announcement. Players will have to wait for the card list before judging how the color plays.
Union Arena Monogatari Signature Cards & Serial-Numbered AP
The set is planned to include foil-stamped signature cards of the anime's voice cast, 11 in total.
- Hitagi Senjougahara: Chiwa Saitou
- Mayoi Hachikuji: Emiri Katou
- Suruga Kanbaru: Miyuki Sawashiro
- Nadeko Sengoku: Kana Hanazawa
- Tsubasa Hanekawa: Yui Horie
- Shinobu Oshino: Maaya Sakamoto
- Karen Araragi: Eri Kitamura
- Tsukihi Araragi: Yuka Iguchi
- Yotsugi Ononoki: Saori Hayami
- Ougi Oshino: Kaori Mizuhashi
- Sodachi Oikura: Marina Inoue
The chase goes further with the Serial No. Limited AP campaign. Serial-numbered limited AP cards are inserted at a very low rate and in limited quantity, and they are planned to carry the cast members' handwritten signatures.
TCGKing's take: handwritten signatures on an AP card are the real prize here, and a very low insert rate means most buyers will be chasing the foil-stamped signatures instead.
New Illustrations in the Monogatari Series Vol.2 Booster
The set includes many newly drawn illustrations made for this product, plus many original-illustration cards by illustrators.
The new art covers Koyomi Araragi & Shinobu Oshino, Hitagi Senjougahara, Mayoi Hachikuji, Suruga Kanbaru, Nadeko Sengoku, Tsubasa Hanekawa, Shinobu Oshino, Karen Araragi, Tsukihi Araragi, Yotsugi Ononoki, Ougi Oshino, and Sodachi Oikura.
Where It Fits on the Union Arena Calendar
The same Japanese autograph-and-serial-number formula is coming to the Haruhi Suzumiya booster sets, which are also at 385 yen a pack. The release also shares its November 27 date with the D.Gray-man booster UA58BT.
