Yu-Gi-Oh! IMPH reportedly adds Ashtrata Tamayori and Ashtrama Yoami
Two reported Ashtra support cards from IMPH, a Level 1 Tuner and a Level 8 Synchro, come with full card text.
Two new Ashtra support cards from the OCG set IMPH have reportedly surfaced: IMPH-JP018 Ashtrata Tamayori, a Level 1 Tuner, and IMPH-JP039 Ashtrama Yoami, a Level 8 Synchro Monster. No official publisher confirmation is stated.
Ashtrata Tamayori: the Tuner
Ashtrata Tamayori (Japanese name: 鬼神童鵄 タマヨリ, Kijin Dōshi Tamayori) is reportedly a Level 1 FIRE Fairy Tuner Effect Monster with ATK 0 and DEF 0.
The monster's opening effect activates whenever it is Normal or Special Summoned. When that happens, you may Special Summon 1 "Ashtra" non-Tuner from your Deck in Defense Position, and afterward 1 face-up monster you control is switched to face-down Defense Position. During the remainder of that turn, Extra Deck Special Summons are off the table, with the lone exception of a Synchro Summon that uses a Level 1 Tuner.
The second effect protects your board. Should an "Ashtra" monster and/or face-down card(s) you control be about to get destroyed by a card effect, you may banish this card from your GY as a replacement. Each of the two effects can be used only once per turn, by card name.
Ashtrama Yoami: the Synchro
Ashtrama Yoami (Japanese name: 鬼神 夜魅, Kijin Yoami) is reportedly a Level 8 WIND Synchro Spellcaster Effect Monster with ATK 2400 and DEF 3000. It requires 1 Tuner plus 1+ non-Tuner monsters.
Its effect (1) kicks in when it is Special Summoned or when it goes from the field to the GY, letting you either add 1 "Ashtra" Trap from your Deck to your hand or Set it.
Effect (2) requires a Trap in your GY. It lets you return the maximum possible number of face-down cards on the field to the hand. If your GY holds 5 or more Traps, you may follow up by returning every card your opponent controls to the hand. Each of the two effects can be used only once per turn, by card name.
TCGKing has also covered two Atlantis cards that become Umi and a Mai Valentine Amazoness and Harpie deck from IMPH.
What is still unknown
The IMPH release date is not announced in the material available. Official English card names, prices, and rarities are also not announced yet.
What it means for players
