Konami follows up September's Magnificent Monsters with Magnificent Maestros, a 125-card holiday product priced at $34.99. It goes on sale November 13, 2026, the same day it becomes legal in Konami tournaments, while Official Tournament Stores get it two days earlier, on November 11, 2026.

Six rivals, eighteen new takes on their cards

The centrepiece is a set of 18 "reimagined" cards drawn from the anime, three for each of six characters or character groups:

  • Seto Kaiba: Blue-Eyes White Dragon, the White Phantom Beast; Deep-Eyes White Dragon, the Blue Abyss; The Guiding Flute of Summoning Dragons.
  • Zane Truesdale (GX): Cyber End Dragon, the Final Strike Dragon; Cyber Dragon, the Luminous Mech Dragon; Future Fusion Nova.
  • 5D's: Crimson Dragon Quetzalcoatl; Red Nova Dragon - Burning Soul; Red Dragon Archfiend's Chains.
  • Kite Tenjo (ZEXAL): Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon - Photon Howling; Galaxy-Eyes Photon Change Dragon; Galaxy Defense Robot Orbital 7.
  • Yuto, Yugo and Yuri (ARC-V): Starving Venom Fusion Dragon, Four Heavenly Dragons; Clear Wing Synchro Dragon, Four Heavenly Dragons; Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon, Four Heavenly Dragons.
  • Varis (VRAINS): Borreload Liberator Dragon; Rokket Barrage; Triple Borrel Launch.

More than its predecessor

Unlike Magnificent Monsters, this box also carries 21 brand-new cards for three existing decks, Toon, Witchcrafter and Unchained, with one of them in every pack. Toon players get Blue-Eyes Ultimate Toon Dragon among them.

Ten further new cards come from cards shown in the anime, including the first Dark Tuner monsters from 5D's, Chaos End Ruler - Master of the Beginning and End and Hyper Rank-Up-Magic Ultimate Force. On top of that, ten cards receive cute "chibi" alternate art, Lovely Labrynth of the Silver Castle and Fallen of Albaz among them.

Forty cards are printed in foil for the first time, Toon Barrel Dragon, Makiu, the Magical Mist and Madolche Ticket included, and the reprint selection leans on Toon staples such as Toon Dark Magician and Toon Table of Contents.

Extended art and Grand Master Rares

Twenty-four cards have extended art, six more than last time. The 18 reimagined cards come in extended art Ultra Rare or Starlight Rare inside the three foil packs of each box, alongside normal Ultra Rare copies. Six older favourites with extended art can only turn up among the three cellophane-wrapped cards of each box.

Only the 18 reimagined cards exist as Grand Master Rares, an extended art version with hieroglyphic borders, numbered 001 to 100. Konami's page gives two figures that do not line up: it says 1,800 Grand Master Rares are printed, 100 for each card, and also that the Americas and the markets supplied from Europe each receive 100 per card, with an "E" at the end of European serial numbers. TCGKing reports both statements as published until Konami clarifies the total. Grand Master Rares are printed in English but can be found in French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish packs.

In the box

Each box holds three 5-card packs, three Secret Rares that can upgrade to Starlight Rare, and three cellophane-wrapped cards.
