Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Immortal Phoenix Release Date: January 29, 2027, Reportedly First 2027 Set
Immortal Phoenix is reportedly listed for January 29, 2027 as the first Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG set of 2027 in ICv2's release calendar. Price and card list are not announced.
Konami Digital Entertainment has unveiled Immortal Phoenix, a new booster set for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, according to the information available so far. The set is reportedly scheduled to reach retail on January 29, 2027.
That date is REPORTED, not CONFIRMED. It comes from a trade-press release calendar, and this article rests on a single source with no official publisher statement behind it. Read the date as a listing, not a final announcement.
Immortal Phoenix release date in the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG 2027 calendar
The ICv2 Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG 2027 product release calendar places Immortal Phoenix first among the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG sets of 2027. The calendar covers releases from January 1, 2027 to January 1, 2028.
Here is what the reporting currently gives for the set:
- Product: Immortal Phoenix, a new booster set
- Reported retail date: January 29, 2027
- Position in the calendar: first Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG set of 2027
If the listing holds, Immortal Phoenix would open the 2027 Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG release schedule.
A Spirit Charmers date that does not fit the calendar
The Q1 2027 section of the same calendar also includes a Spirit Charmers entry. Its release date is written as January 23, 2026.
That date falls in 2026, even though the entry sits in a section for 2027 releases. The reporting does not explain the mismatch, so the Spirit Charmers date should be treated with caution until it is clarified. It may be a typo in the calendar, but that is only a guess and nothing in the sources confirms it.
Earlier community card reports tied to Immortal Phoenix
TCGKing has already covered community-sourced card reports linked to the set. One example is IMPH Nightmare Twinkle, reportedly a Level 4 LIGHT Illusion. Those card texts have not been confirmed by the publisher.
TCGKing also has a further article on the set's cards dated 2026-10-31.
