Lorcana bans My Adventure Book in Core, Bend to My Will in Coconut

Ravensburger reportedly banned My Adventure Book in Core Constructed and Bend to My Will in the Format Coconut beta, so both cards must come out of decks in those formats. Both bans took effect Tuesday, November 3, 2026, and Game Hub events using Core will no longer accept lists with My Adventure Book. The Bend to My Will ban covers only Format Coconut, and Infinity Constructed still bans Hiram Flaversham – Toymaker. My Adventure Book is an item card from the set Attack of the Vine!, released in July 2026. Ravensburger said the card gave too much consistency to decks that play very few or no characters, promoting a strategy built almost entirely on items and actions. Alyson Erb, Play Design Manager, said the team examined community feedback and the decks using the card before deciding, and wants to encourage strategies where character cards shine. Bend to My Will was banned because, when played, all other players begin to top-deck and their plans are wiped out, slowing the game and lengthening playtime. Format Coconut is played to 25 lore with multiple opponents, so the card is much more likely to be played there than in a head-to-head game. Lukas Litzsinger, Lead Game Designer, said there are no other cards in Format Coconut currently of concern, and the team will keep monitoring the format. Feedback on Format Coconut has been gathered through Discord channels and a survey, and the community raised concerns about Bend to My Will. The Ravensburger game design team made the bans in consultation with the community.
