Magic's first Secret Lair Bundle: Reality Fracture, from $159.98

Wizards of the Coast has announced the Reality Fracture Secret Lair Bundle, the first product of its kind. It will be sold alongside two new Secret Lair drops, Strange School and Duality Distorted, and all three will be sold through the Chaos Vault on MagicSecretLair.com. The three Reality Fracture Secret Lair Bundle Bundles cost $159.98 USD, $179.98 USD, and $234.99 USD.

The launch date has not been given. Notification sign-up is offered on the Secret Lair storefront.

What is in the three Bundle Bundles

Every Bundle Bundle contains one Reality Fracture Secret Lair Bundle plus the two new drops. The drops come in non-foil, traditional foil, or both editions, and the Reality Fracture Secret Lair Bundle itself is identical in every version.

The Non-Foil Edition costs $159.98 USD (about €142 / CHF 132). It holds the Bundle, Strange School Non-Foil Edition, and Duality Distorted Non-Foil Edition.

The Foil Edition costs $179.98 USD (about €160 / CHF 148). It holds the Bundle, Strange School Foil Edition, and Duality Distorted Foil Edition.

The Everything Edition costs $234.99 USD (about €209 / CHF 194). It holds the Bundle plus both editions of both drops: Strange School Non-Foil and Foil, and Duality Distorted Non-Foil and Foil.

The equivalents above are approximate conversions at the European Central Bank reference rate of 2026-10-16. Retail prices in Europe and Switzerland are set by distributors and usually differ.

The two new drops

Each drop can be bought alone or as a package deal with the Secret Lair Bundle.

Strange School (romanised from its original Japanese title, Kaii Gakko) has a macabre manga theme that matches the Hexhaven setting of Reality Fracture. Every card carries black-and-white artwork by Japanese artists and illustrators, and every card is mono-black. The list is Attrition, Bitter Ordeal, Ophiomancer, Sign in Blood, and Soul Spike, one copy of each.

Duality Distorted reimagines four classic cards on retro frame cards. Four Magic artists each made a piece inspired by one of their earlier works. The cards are Thoughtseize, Desperate Ritual, Pyroblast, and Tribute to the World Tree, one copy of each.

Both drops are priced the same: $29.99 USD non-foil (about €26.65 / CHF 24.71) and $39.99 USD foil (about €35.54 / CHF 32.95).

Why it matters

This is the start of a pattern. From Reality Fracture on, every Magic Multiverse set will get its own Secret Lair Bundle, which pairs the set's new cards with Secret Lair styling. The Reality Fracture Secret Lair Bundle is presented as part of the Echoverse, the Multiverse line that includes colorshifted characters.

Strange School also continues an earlier idea. A school manga-themed Secret Lair drop was made for Secrets of Strixhaven in April, and this one follows it.

Separately, TCGKing has also covered the Marvel Secret Lair Countdown Kit, which launches November 2, 2026 only on MagicSecretLair.com.

What is still unknown

The exact launch date and time in the Chaos Vault is not announced yet. The price and card list of the Reality Fracture Secret Lair Bundle on its own are not given, and the names of the four Duality Distorted artists are not either. Shipping regions, order limits, and print-run details are also not announced yet, so no European or Swiss availability has been confirmed.

What it means for players

• Decide on foil before the launch: the Non-Foil Edition ($159.98 USD) and Foil Edition ($179.98 USD) each include only one finish of both drops, while the Everything Edition ($234.99 USD) has both.
• Mono-black players should note that Strange School has five black cards, including Sign in Blood and Ophiomancer.
• Players who want only the drops can buy either one alone, at $29.99 USD non-foil or $39.99 USD foil.
• Notification sign-up is open on the Secret Lair storefront, since no launch date has been given.
