Pokémon Scramble Battle Kagawa: Free Entry, Dec. 26–27 Lottery
Japan's Scramble Battle heads to Sunmesse Kagawa for a Solo day and a Trio day, free to enter through a pre-entry lottery. No English or European date is given.
The Pokémon Company has confirmed Pokémon Trading Card Game Scramble Battle Kagawa for December 26–27, 2026, and it costs nothing to enter. The catch is a lottery: only winners get into the main event, so a free ticket is not a guaranteed one.
This is a Japan event, held at Sunmesse Kagawa, 2217-1 Hayashi-cho, Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture. No event outside Japan is announced yet.
Scramble Battle Kagawa Solo and Trio Schedule
The weekend is split into two separate events, each with its own entry style:
- Saturday, December 26, 2026: Scramble Battle Kagawa (Solo Battle), with players entering individually.
- Sunday, December 27, 2026: Scramble Battle Kagawa (Trio Battle), with players entering in teams of 3.
Both days run from 9:30 to 19:30, with last entry at 15:00. Entry times differ by group, and attendees are told to check their tournament registration.
Scramble Battle Format and Open League Rules
Scramble Battle is played in a "real-time Swiss draw" format using a smartphone. The league is the Open League.
The main event requires a LINE account and a smartphone. Tablets and similar devices cannot be used, so check your hardware before you apply.
TCGKing's take: the Trio day is the one to plan around, and Friend Entry looks like the obvious tool for anyone building a team of 3.
Pre-Entry Lottery and Friend Entry
Participation is by advance entry with a pre-event lottery. The main event and merchandise sales are open only to lottery winners.
A "Friend Entry" option in the lottery gives friends or family who apply together the same result and the same entry group.
Venue Baggage Checks and Banned Items
Baggage is checked before entry and again on re-entry. Alcohol and dangerous items may not be brought in, including sharp objects, blades, fire-related items, and harmful or poisonous substances. Staff may confiscate or hold items they judge dangerous.
Other Japan Events on TCGKing's Radar
This is not the only Japanese entry window open right now. City League 2027 Season 2 runs a lottery from October 30 to November 9, 2026 with a 500-yen fee, so this event's free entry stands out by comparison.
What is still unknown
- The lottery application period and result dates are not announced yet.
