Rush Duel Galaxy Cup 2026 Fukuoka Qualifier Set for January 17, 2027
Konami's 3-person team qualifier in Fukuoka takes 96 teams by lottery, with Dark Knight Gaia in Secret Rare SPECIAL RED Ver. for the top 6 teams.
Konami has announced the Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel Galaxy Cup 2026 [Team Battle] Fukuoka Qualifier for Sunday January 17, 2027, a Japan event where three-player teams chase a finals berth and Dark Knight Gaia in Secret Rare SPECIAL RED Ver. Entry is by lottery, and the application window opens on November 27, 2026.
The top 3 teams win the right to enter the finals plus Dark Knight Gaia in Secret Rare SPECIAL RED Ver., which is a notable prize for a qualifier. The Rush Duel line also has fresh news on the TCGKing calendar, including Mad Rare Rappid's reported Over-Rush Rare art in RD/KP27.
Rush Duel Galaxy Cup Fukuoka Qualifier: Dates and Application
The event is held at Hakata International Exhibition Hall & Conference Center in Fukuoka, with room for 96 teams (288 players).
- Apply through the free Yu-Gi-Oh! Neuron app.
- Application period: Friday November 27, 2026 at 16:00 to Monday December 14, 2026 at 23:59.
- Lottery results: Wednesday December 23, 2026.
Fukuoka Qualifier Prizes
Prizes are tiered by placement.
- Top 3 teams: finals entry plus Dark Knight Gaia in Secret Rare SPECIAL RED Ver.
- Top 6 teams: Dark Knight Gaia in Secret Rare SPECIAL RED Ver.
- Teams reaching the final round: a special protector sleeve pack of 70 sleeves.
- Every participant: "Gradines, Banner Bearer of Victory" in Normal Parallel (official English name not given).
Team Format, Swiss Rounds and Schedule
Teams have three players. Matches have a 45-minute limit, and the Swiss draw runs up to 5 rounds in double-elimination style, so a team is out at 2 losses.
- Doors and check-in: 9:00; check-in closes 10:00
- Rules explanation and opening declaration: 10:15
- Matches start: 10:30
- Awards and closing: 19:00
Times may shift with attendance and progress.
Players cannot leave on their own while the Swiss draw is running. Round 1 pairings appear in Yu-Gi-Oh! Neuron after check-in closes, and every table already has a duel field, so bringing your own is prohibited.
The winning player reports the result in the app after both check the screen, and entries cannot be edited. The deadline is 5 minutes after the time limit, and if no result is entered, both players lose. A player not seated at match start takes a duel or match loss.
Same-Day Overlaps With Other Fukuoka Events
This qualifier shares its date with the Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Japan Championship 2026 [Team Battle] Fukuoka Qualifier, and you cannot apply to both.
You may apply for the Duelist Festival FUKUOKA 2027 lottery at the same time, but cannot win both. Eliminated players can join the Rush Duel division of Duelist Festival at the same venue that day without queuing at its reception.
TCGKing's take: the Duelist Festival access makes an early exit less painful, but since you cannot apply to both Fukuoka qualifiers and cannot win both lotteries, teams will want to plan their application carefully.
What is still unknown
