Secret Lair Marvel's History of Heroes Countdown Kit: 30 Cards, $199,99
Wizards put the Secret Lair Marvel's History of Heroes Countdown Kit on sale 2 November 2026, giving Magic fans 30 individually packaged cards rather than boosters. It costs $199,99 in the US, with shipping listed from 4 November, while the European page lists 239,99 € and deliveries from 19 November. Contents include Fierce Guardianship, Heroic Intervention and Lightning Bolt; the full list is on the official presentation page. The kit's illustrations come from more than 30 artists, covering Marvel characters and moments, and the cards are split between non-foil, foil and surge foil finishes. Doctor Strange, Master of Magic and Beta Ray Bill are previewed in the kit ahead of the set Marvel: Darkhold Destiny. Wizards states the tournament legality of these two cards is tied to the Marvel: Darkhold Destiny previews, announced from 2 April 2027. As a precedent, the 30th Anniversary Countdown Kit (2022) also had 30 individually packaged cards, one per Magic year from 1993, announced in October 2022 at $149,99 as a limited print run, with a 30% chance per card of a traditional foil version.
