TCG briefs for October 25, 2026

IGN has put together a list of 12 Magic: The Gathering Commander precons that it considers the most powerful, and it stresses that the entries are not in any real order. The picks include Draconic Domination, Counter Blitz and Necron Dynasties. These details are reported by press only; no publisher source backs them.

IGN also lists four additional decks it found fun, and the coverage mentions a bundle price at Amazon.

Wizards of the Coast recognized Commander as a format in 2011. That decision started a steady flow of preconstructed decks that can be played straight from the box.

Here are the 12 decks and their Commanders, as the list describes them:

The Field Spell Card Forest of the Beautiful Dark Queen (RD/KP27-JP060) has reportedly been revealed as part of RD/KP27. According to a community report, the card draws you a card when certain Monster effects are paid for with a Spell/Trap. No official publisher source has confirmed any of this, so treat every detail below as reported.

According to the report, the card has no activation requirement; its requirement is listed as None. It is a continuous-style effect that works while the card sits face-up in a Field Zone.

It triggers after you activate a Monster's effect. A condition applies: you must have sent a Spell/Trap Card from your hand or field to the Graveyard as a requirement of that effect. If you did, you draw 1 card.

A 1/1 Hugh Jackman autograph from 2025 Topps Chrome Marvel Studios reportedly sold for $33,500, the highest price among the top Wolverine card sales of the past year. According to a Sports Illustrated Collectibles ranking, the data is credited to Cardladder.

The list mixes new Topps cards with older PSA-graded Fleer and Terrabusi cards. TCGKing found no official Topps source for any of these figures, and the ranking is the only source we have, so treat every price as reported rather than confirmed.

Here are the reported sales, from highest to lowest:
