CGC Submissions at Rhode Island Comic Con: Captured Collectibles, Nov 6–8
Captured Collectibles takes CGC card and memorabilia submissions at the Providence show on November 6-8, 2026, and JSA authenticates autographs on site.
Collectors heading to Providence can hand cards and memorabilia to CGC without posting them: Rhode Island Comic Con, November 6-8, 2026, has a CGC drop-off run by Captured Collectibles.
Providence, Rhode Island hosts the event, spread across the Rhode Island Convention Center and Amica Mutual Pavilion. Organizers promote it as "The Biggest Show in the Smallest State," featuring celebrity guests, comic creators, autograph sessions, photo opportunities and a collectibles show floor.
CGC Submissions at Rhode Island Comic Con
The booth takes all CGC submissions, and its representatives accept cards and autographed memorabilia throughout the show.
The facilitator handles:
- submission paperwork
- Signature Series book witnessing for CGC
- convention drop-offs
- direct communication with CGC
After the show, all submissions travel to CGC's headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, where they are authenticated, graded and encapsulated.
According to CGC, collectors who submit at the show benefit from quick turnaround times and pay shipping in only one direction, which cuts costs.
JSA On-Site Autograph Authentication
At the show, JSA representatives take in autographed memorabilia and can authenticate it on the spot.
The two tiers work differently:
- JSA Basic Certification (COA): the item is processed and the result finalized on the same day.
- JSA Letter of Authenticity (LOA): the item is reviewed on the same day, while the final documented results arrive later by mail.
JSA pricing is listed at SpenceLOA.com/fees.
How This Fits CGC's Show Circuit
The Providence stop sits alongside other facilitator-run CGC drop-offs. CGC also takes submissions through FGS Autographs at the Front Row Card Show Atlanta on November 7-8, 2026, and at Cards, Kicks and Collectibles in Noblesville on November 6-7.
TCGKing's take: handing a slab to a stranger at a con booth usually means weeks of nail-biting, so the same-day COA is the real treat here. If you want an autograph verified before you leave Providence, it is the only tier that is finished the same day.
What is still unknown
- The CGC service levels and fees available at the booth.
- The booth number or location.
- The exact number of days for CGC grading turnaround, and when the final JSA LOA results arrive by mail.
