MTG Arena Direct Edge of Eternities Sealed: 7 Wins Earn 2 Boxes
The next Arena Direct on MTG Arena is a Best-of-One Sealed event using Edge of Eternities (Italian name: Ai Confini dell'Eternità), and a strong run pays out in real cardboard: 1 Play Booster box for 6 wins, 2 for 7 wins. The event is announced for November 6 to November 8, 2026.
Arena Direct is the series in which players compete for physical rewards shipped to their homes once the event ends. The box tiers are the real draw.
Arena Direct Edge of Eternities Dates & Entry Cost
- Entry: 6,000 gems per entry.
- Opens: November 6, 2026 at 8:00 AM PT (16:00 UTC).
- Registration closes: November 9, 2026 at 8:00 AM PT (16:00 UTC).
- Event ends: November 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM PT (19:00 UTC), or when the entry limit is reached. No new matches start after that, but matches in progress may finish.
The entry limit number is not given in the announcement, so an early start is the safer plan.
Edge of Eternities Sealed Rewards by Win Count
- 0–2 wins: no reward.
- 3 wins: 2,700 gems and 8 MTG Arena packs.
- 4 wins: 5,400 gems and 16 MTG Arena packs.
- 5 wins: 8,100 gems and 24 MTG Arena packs.
- 6 wins: 1 Edge of Eternities Play Booster box (physical).
- 7 wins: 2 Edge of Eternities Play Booster boxes.
Box rewards are available while supplies last. If stock runs out, Wizards of the Coast may, at its sole discretion, replace each box with a cash prize of 164.70 dollars.
TCGKing's take: the 5-win tier hands back more gems than the 6,000 entry costs, so the real gamble is the jump from 5 to 6 wins, where the payout changes from digital to physical.
Arena Direct Eligibility, Taxes & Regions
Participants must be at least 18, with an active Wizards account that has a current email address and country information. Cash prizes require a Wizards account and an i-payout account, and are subject to legally required tax withholding (for example 30% in most cases).
Physical rewards ship to a long list of countries, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Italy. Players in China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, and several other listed regions are barred from entering.
How to Claim Arena Direct Rewards
Winners get an email with redemption instructions and have 90 days from the end of the event to claim.
- Register fully and verify identity on an i-payout eWallet account.
- Place a free order with the rewards and give a shipping address to Scalefast.
- Expect shipping to take up to three weeks after the expected release date in the confirmation email.
Wizards covers shipping in most cases, but some countries may add import taxes it cannot cover. All rewards are subject to US taxes, even for players living outside the US.
Arena Open events keep the same schedule as before, with the same cash prizes.
What is still unknown
- The entry limit number.
- Which physical box type or card count applies beyond "Play Booster box".
- Dates for future Arena Direct events.
