Pokémon Mega Rayquaza ex Premium Tournament Collection Release Date Slips to February 12, 2027
The Dragon Shield box moves from November 20, 2026 to February 12, 2027. It holds four foil promos, a two-card Legendary Summit Stadium, and eight booster packs.
The Pokémon TCG: Mega Rayquaza ex Premium Tournament Collection now has a release date of Friday February 12, 2027, at retailers that sell Pokémon TCG products. Anyone who planned around the original slot will wait longer. The box was first listed for November 20th, 2026, according to reports.
Mega Rayquaza ex Premium Tournament Collection Contents
The box is built around Mega Rayquaza ex, with accessories made by Dragon Shield. It includes:
- 1 foil promo card featuring Mega Rayquaza ex
- 3 foil promos: Zinnia's Trust, Adventure Lantern, and Mega Rayquaza Cap
- 2 cards that combine to form one Legendary Summit Stadium
- 65 Mega Rayquaza-themed Dragon Shield sleeves, supplied in a thematic box
- A Dragon Shield deck box
- 1 plastic Pokémon coin, 8 booster packs, and a Pokémon TCG Live code card
Price and Preorders
MSRP is reportedly $49.99, according to PokeGuardian. The Pokémon Company had not listed an official US price when the report was written, and preorders had not opened on Pokémon Center US.
Treat $49.99 as a pencil mark until the publisher lists it.
Dragon Shield Sleeves and Promo Background
The sleeves and deck box are reportedly the first collaboration of this kind between The Pokémon Company International and Dragon Shield. Licensed Pokémon TCG accessories were previously made by Ultra PRO.
The sleeve art is reportedly reused from a 2019 Pokémon Center Japan deck sleeve release.
The Mega Rayquaza ex Ultra Rare promo is reportedly the full-art card from Storm Emerald (Japan) that was omitted from the international Mega Evolution – Delta Reign set.
The Legendary Stadium mechanic, two cards combined into a single Stadium, reportedly debuted in Storm Emerald and carried over to Delta Reign.
TCGKing's take: the missing full-art promo and the two-card Stadium make this a box for Delta Reign players who want Mega Rayquaza ex in their decks, not just a sleeve purchase. Dragon Shield's first turn on official Pokémon sleeves is the other draw.
Delta Reign itself is due November 6, 2026, which leaves the collection arriving well after the set. See Delta Reign (ME06).
What is still unknown
- Pre-order availability.
