Digimon DC-1 Grand Prix 2026 SEASON 2: Lottery Entry Opens November 5
Bandai's Japan-only large tournament runs December 26, 2026 – January 17, 2027 at 8 stores, with a JAPAN FINALS spot for the winner and a 1,200-yen sleeve set as the ticket.
The Digimon Card Game's DC-1 Grand Prix 2026 SEASON 2 is a lottery-entry tournament in Japan, and winning it earns a place at the World Championship 26-27 JAPAN FINALS. Lottery applications run November 5, 2026 – November 29, 2026.
The event is held from December 26, 2026 – January 17, 2027 at 8 officially authorized stores across Japan. The store list is posted on BANDAI TCG+.
DC-1 Grand Prix SEASON 2 Entry Rules
- A personal BANDAI TCG+ account is required, and entries must be made with the participant's own account.
- Proxy entries and multiple accounts by one person are prohibited and invalidate the entry.
- The event uses 'Region 1: Japan', so players need an ID issued in that region.
- If applications exceed capacity, a draw decides who plays. Only winners can take part, and participation rights cannot be transferred.
The ticket comes with a purchase. Each player buys one set of the DC-1 Grand Prix Sleeves Ver.4 at the participating store for 1,200 yen (about $7.60), and the participation right comes with the set. It holds 60 sleeves, with a limit of one set per person.
TCGKing's take: the sleeves are effectively the entry fee, so a lottery loss is the one outcome that spares you from needing a spare set of sleeves.
