Digimon Evolution Cup 2026 Vol. 4: Alt-Art Prizes, 500-Yen Entry
Pre-entry for Evolution Cup 2026 Season 4 opens in Japan on October 30, 2026. Events run December to January, with alt-art BeelStarmon for the winner.
The Digimon Card Game's Evolution Cup 2026 Season 4 (Vol. 4 on the English site) is official, and the English site lists alt-art prizes for everyone who sits down, including a BT25-085 BeelStarmon (Alt-Art) for the winner. Pre-entry in Japan opens on Friday October 30, 2026 through the BANDAI TCG+ app.
The Japanese pre-entry dates are subject to change depending on circumstances.
Evolution Cup 2026 Vol. 4 Dates and Entry
The two sites describe the window differently:
- Japanese site: early December 2026 to late January 2027.
- English site: Dec. 1, 2026 – Jan. 31, 2027, with dates that may change, so players should confirm with their local store.
Entry requires pre-application on BANDAI TCG+, and all regions are available there. In Japan, a lottery decides if applications exceed capacity, and same-day entry is possible if spots remain.
The Japan entry fee is 500 yen (about $3.20). Participating stores can be found in the app by setting the game title to Digimon Card Game.
Evolution Cup Format and Rules
The English site lists Singles Constructed with Swiss rounds and no Top Cut. Matches are best-of-three, with 55 minutes plus 5 minutes of overtime.
In Japan the format is free format, with a single winner decided. Each store handles pairings, and capacity is expected to be at most 32 players per tournament.
For Japanese events, rules also state:
- Multiple accounts per person and proxy applications are prohibited, and participation rights cannot be transferred.
- No tournament starts at or after 22:00.
- Tournaments with elementary-school-age or younger players end by 18:00.
Evolution Cup Vol. 4 Prizes
The English site lists these alt-art cards:
- Participation: EX7-071 Hurricane Screw Shot (Alt-Art) x1
- TOP4: BT24-088 Asuna Shiroki (Alt-Art) x1
- Winner: BT25-085 BeelStarmon (Alt-Art) x1
The Japanese site lists commemorative prizes in three tiers (winner, top 8 or better, and participation) and notes that prizes change each season.
TCGKing's take: a guaranteed alt-art for showing up makes this a low-cost way to pick up a promo, but with no Top Cut on the English format, the TOP4 prize is decided purely by Swiss standings.
Other Digimon Events on the Calendar
The cup overlaps with other December events, including the BT-27 Release Event, the Japan-only DC-1 Grand Prix 2026 Season 2, and the Welcome Tamers Meetup.
What is still unknown
- Exact Japanese event dates within early December to late January.
- The Japanese prize card list.
