Union Arena December Meetup Event: Free Battles, Two Promos, Dec 08
A 2-hour free Basic battle session runs Dec 08, 2026 to Jan 07, 2027 on the Asia English page, with Yotsugi Ononoki and Allen Walker promos as participation prizes.
The December Meetup Event for Union Arena is a free, 2-hour casual battle session with participation promos. The Asia (English) site lists the period as December 08, 2026 – January 07, 2027.
The participation prizes are UAPR/MGS-2-043 Yotsugi Ononoki from the Monogatari series and UAPR/DGM-1-045 Allen Walker from D.Gray-man. Quantities are limited, first come first served, per the Asia English page.
Union Arena Meetup Event Rules & Format
The event is billed as super casual, aimed at new players learning the game and socializing through matches. Winning or losing is not the focus.
- Match rules: Basic battle
- Decks: bring a deck built around your favorite work
- Non-regulation or copied cards are not allowed
How to Register for the December Meetup Event
Registration through the BANDAI TCG+ app is required, with the game title set to UNION ARENA. Store information and applications are handled there.
- Check with the host store beforehand that the event is actually being held.
- The Asia English page links shop lists for Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, plus a separate list for Thailand.
- Prizes are handed out even if only one person participates and the event cannot be held.
TCGKing's take: that last rule makes this one of the easier promo pickups in the calendar, since a no-show crowd at your store does not cost you the card. Just confirm the store is taking part first.
Two Different Event Periods
The Japanese site gives a different window: Tuesday December 1 – Thursday December 31, 2026, with applications opening Sunday November 1 (year not stated).
Japanese-page rules add that applications need your own BANDAI TCG+ account, with proxy applications and multiple accounts prohibited and duplicates invalidated. Under-18 applicants need parental consent, and venue or date changes are not possible. Details are recorded as of October 30, 2026 and may change.
The event sits alongside other December Union Arena play, such as the UNI-TICKET GET BATTLE December and the UNION RARE STRUGGLE BATTLE 22nd Season, which runs Dec 08 to Feb 07.
What is still unknown
- Which stores host the event; the list sits in BANDAI TCG+.
- How many promos each store receives; quantities are not stated.
- Whether each participant gets one or both promos, as the announcement does not say.
