Digimon ST-25 and ST-26 Welcome Tamers Meetup: Sign Up by November 15
Pre-registration for the Welcome Tamers Meetup runs October 30–November 15, 2026, with events December 5–31 and a deluxe Welcome Tamers Pack vol.3 as the commemorative item.
The Digimon Card Game has opened pre-registration for the Welcome Tamers Meetup, a free-play event for newcomers and returning players built around Starter Decks DIGIMON ALYSION Rubiusmon [ST-25] and DIGIMON ALYSION Yukinamon [ST-26]. The commemorative item is a deluxe-spec pack.
Welcome Tamers Meetup Dates and How to Apply
- Pre-registration: Friday October 30, 2026 – Sunday November 15, 2026, which may change depending on circumstances.
- Event period: Saturday December 5, 2026 – Thursday December 31, 2026.
- Apply through the BANDAI TCG+ app, where participating stores are listed once the game title is set to Digimon Card Game.
If applications exceed capacity, winners are drawn by lottery and only winners can attend. Same-day entry is possible if slots remain.
ST-25 and ST-26 Meetup Format
The session is a teaching meetup with up to 2 hours of free battles, about 4 battles at most. Stores decide the matchups, and capacity differs by store.
No deck building needed: participants play with decks lent by the store, using ST-25 and ST-26.
The meetup is aimed at friends and family, and at people new to the game or returning after a break.
Welcome Tamers Pack vol.3 and Pair Prizes
The commemorative item is 1 pack of Welcome Tamers Pack vol.3, a deluxe-spec pack of cards from ST-25 and ST-26.
Pairs registered together receive both a participation prize and a Welcome prize, while a solo participant gets only the participation prize. Both are handed out at the end of the meetup.
TCGKing's take: free decks, free battles and a free pack is about as low-risk as a Digimon Saturday gets, and since only pairs collect the second prize, the best use of that lottery ticket is dragging a friend along.
Rules and Time Limits
- Official rules apply.
- Multiple accounts per person, proxy applications and transfer of participation rights are prohibited.
- No event starts at or after 22:00, and events with elementary-school-age or younger participants end by 18:00.
The event lands in the same window as Booster Set Ignition of X (BT-27), reportedly out December 5th in Japan.
