Union Arena Rare Battle December 2026 Brings Re:ZERO Prizes, TCG+ Sign-Ups Nov. 11
The North American Rare Battle runs December 4, 2026 to January 1, 2027 under ONE Battle Rule with Re:ZERO; applications open November 11, 2026.
The UNION ARENA RARE BATTLE 2026 December event is now on the official North American events page, and it is a Re:ZERO affair: everyone plays decks from the same title, and the UNION RARE Card prize can only be won here. It runs December 4, 2026 to January 1, 2027.
A month-long window means store schedules will vary, and some stores will not hold the event at all. Check your local shop before planning a trip.
Union Arena Rare Battle December 2026 Format and Dates
- Format: ONE Battle Rule, with all participants using decks from the same title
- Title: Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-
- Dates: December 4, 2026 to January 1, 2027
TCG+ Applications Open November 11, 2026
All players must apply on TCG+ before the event, and applications start November 11, 2026.
TCG+ is Bandai Card Games' app for finding stores, registering for events, tournament attendance and pairings, deck building, and statistics.
Rare Battle Prizes: UNION RARE Cards and Event Pack Vol.10
- 1st place: 1 UNION RARE Card (Winner ver.), a specially designed WINNER ver. card of the participating title
- 2nd place: 1 UNION RARE Card of the participating title
- Participation: 1 Event Pack Vol.10, with 1 card per pack
TCGKing's take: the exclusivity is the draw. Since the UNION RARE Card cannot be obtained anywhere else, the Winner ver. is the one collectors will chase, and only first place gets it.
A similar idea, a title-specific UNION RARE card and a "WINNERver." version for the winner, appears in the UNION RARE STRUGGLE BATTLE 22nd Season.
Re:ZERO is also the subject of the Japanese EX17BT release.
What is still unknown
- Which stores participate
- Entry fees
- Card names of the UNION RARE Cards
